FRELSBURG CHURCH TO HOST UPCOMING COUNTRY FESTIVAL
The Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Frelsburg is hosting an upcoming Country Festival.
The festival takes place on the church grounds at 1031 Church Lane on Sunday, August 2nd.
They will start with Holy Mass at 8:30am and 10:30am, with Very Reverend Robert Knippenberg as the celebrant.
After mass, they will be serving Frelsburg’s Delicious Fried Fish Meals. The cost is for $15 adults, and $10 for kids 12 and under.
The fish meal comes with buttered potatoes, hush puppies, coleslaw, pinto beans, bread, pickles, and tea.
The meals can either be dine-in from 11am-1pm, or to-go from 10:30am-1pm.
In addition to that, inside their air-conditioned halls, there will be bingo at 12 noon, a live auction at 1pm, and a free dance featuring music from the Dujka Brothers.
Hamburgers, nachos, and snacks will be served in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, for outdoor fun, they are going to have live music from local musicians, a kids’ water zone, a country store, a silent auction, a toy drawing, a train ride, kids’ games, and a ring toss.
