BURTON HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCES HOMECOMING CANDIDATES

Running for Homecoming Queen this year are Liz Alvarado, Adison Harmel, Madison Helton and Skyler Unger.
Nominees for Homecoming King are Lawrence Allen, Yobani Brewer, Jayden Daughtry and Houston Hodde.
Other members of the court include Junior Duchess, Autumn Applewhite; Sophomore Duchess, Myliah Barksdale; and Freshman Duchess, Paisley Goldberg.
Burton High School’s homecoming festivities will be next week, starting on Wednesday, September 30th with a parade through downtown Burton at 6 p.m., a community pep rally at Panther Stadium at 6:30 p.m. and a hamburger tailgate meal at 7 p.m.
The homecoming royalty will be crowned during the Burton Panthers’ football game against the Bartlett Bulldogs on Friday, October 2nd. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Panther Stadium, with 6:30 p.m. pregame on AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com.
