CUBS WRAP UP TOURNAMENT WITH A TIE AGAINST CLEAR LAKE

The Brenham Cub Baseball Team wrapped up the Clear Creek ISD Tournament by playing Clear Lake to a 2-2 tie earlier today (Saturday).

Clear Lake got one run in each of the first two innings off of starter Brayden Goss to take an early 2-0 lead. Dawson Keim came on in relief during the fourth inning and shut the Falcons down the rest of the way.

Brenham didn't get on the scoreboard until the 7th inning. Owen Finke reached on a two-out single. Drake Bentke followed that up with a two-run homer over the centerfield fence to tie the game at 2-2.

With it being a tournament, the time limit expired, and the game ended in a tie.
