The Washington County Chamber of Commerce is now taking reservations for its 10th Annual Administrative Professionals Appreciation Luncheon.

The event will take place on Thursday, April 25th from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Janis Sneed Banquet Room in the Blinn College Student Center in Brenham.

Leading the program will be Stacey Walters, an active community volunteer and supporter.

Walters served as director of social services at Kruse Village from 1990 to 1998, created the first Alzheimer’s support group in Washington County and spearheaded the inaugural Alzheimer’s Walk fundraiser.  She and her mother, Mary Ann, have operated Tres Chic Boutique in downtown Brenham since 2000.

Walters is also involved as the vice president of Brenham Maifest and holds positions on various advisory councils, including the Tourism Advisory Council and the Washington County Texas A&M Board.  She formerly served on the Hotel Occupancy Tax Board and currently volunteers with groups like Faith Mission and Brenham GameChangers.

Walters was recognized with the 2020 Tourism Partner Award for “Social Leader” and the 2023 Tourism Partner Award for the “Spotlight Award” from Visit Brenham.

All guests will receive gift bags and be eligible to win door prizes.

Tickets for the luncheon can be purchased now through April 17th.  Entry for Chamber members is $35, $45 for non-members.  Reserved tables seating eight people are $350.  Exhibitors and vendors can set up booths for a $150 fee, which includes two event tickets.

KWHI and KTEX-106 are headline sponsors for the event.
