AREA RESULTS: CUB TRACK SENDING TWO TO REGIONALS

Two members of the Brenham Cub Track Team are advancing to Regionals after they competed in the Area Meet that was held on Thursday at Magnolia High School.

Jaylon Ward finished fourth in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 10.60. He also finished third in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 21.70.

Caleb Espinoza won second place in the Discus with a throw of 146 feet, seven inches.

By being in the top four finishers of their respective events, Ward and Espinoza will move on to the Regional Meet, which is being held April 25-26 at Turner Stadium in Humble.

Boys 300 Meter Hurdles - Jayvon Carleton, 6th place, 42.07

Boys 4x200 Meter Relay - Jaylon Ward, Saif Mohammed, Issac Powell, and Cartelle Brown, 6th place, 1:31.53

Boys High Jump - Christopher Guidrey, 7th place, 5 feet and 10 inches

Boys Triple Jump - Elijah Ferguson, 8th place, 41 feet and 5 inches

Girls 300 Meter Hurdles - Adrianna Phllips, 8th place, 48.83

Girls 4x400 Meter Relay - Adrianna Phillips, Rihanna King, Aleira Stackhouse. and RaMaria Densey, 8th place, 4:19.14
