CHAPPELL HILL VFD SAVES HOME FROM A FIRE
Members of the Chappell Hill Volunteer Department responded to the scene of structure fire on Friday morning.
The fire broke out just after 10:10am on the 13,600 Block of FM 1371 in Chappell Hill.
Fire departments from Salem, Meyersville, Berlin, and Bellville arrived to assist at the scene with extra vehicles and man power.
Firefighters were able to stop the flames before they reached the house on the property.
However, a barn and a carport were a total loss.
On their Facebook page, the Chappell Hill Volunteer Department reported that the homeowner is good.
The cause of the fire is under a further investigation.
