SENIOR ROYALTY HONORED AT BRENHAM MAIFEST CORONATION
Family and friends celebrated the coronation Friday night of the 134th Brenham Maifest’s Senior Royalty.

Senior Queen Ashley Ribbon Jones and Senior King Lucas Cash Flynn reigned over the court of “Viva Las Maifest”. The ceremony at Fireman’s Park showcased the glitz and glamour of the Las Vegas Strip, from its endless casino games to some of the musicians and entertainers that have come from all over the world to find fame and fortune.
The Junior Queen and King, Caroline Adele Kenjura and Tyler Henry Hopkins, will be crowned Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. as they reign over the court of “Up, Up and Away: Across the USA”.
Saturday’s activities begin with the parade through downtown Brenham at 10:30 a.m. KWHI will broadcast the parade live starting at 10 a.m. and will livestream it on Facebook, sponsored by Mr. Gatti’s Pizza in Brenham. The Maifestival grounds and carnival will open following the parade for dance performances, games and beer tasting.
Music will be provided by Isaak Klaus and the Lederhosen Junkies from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Das ist Lustig from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., Alli & the Polka Dots from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., and the Brown Sugar Band from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m.
