WASHINGTON COUNTY AGRI-LIFE CANCELS DAIRY DAY
Due to low participation numbers, the Washington County Agri-Life Extension Office has announced that Saturday’s “Dairy Day” has been canceled.
The event was scheduled to begin with check-in at 8am and the show starting at 9am.
Each year, Texas A&M Agri-Life Extension has invited 4-H and FFA from around the region to “Dairy Day” to learn about dairy cattle.
Washington County Extension Agent Kara Matheny said that they look forward to returning with a bigger and better “Dairy Day” in 2025.
To take the place of the scheduled Dairy Day live broadcast, KWHI will be doing special salutes on Saturday morning to the children, families, and businesses that are involved in the dairy industry.
