FAYETTE CO. FAIR ANNOUNCES CANDIDATES FOR FAIR QUEEN, JUNIOR MISS
Three candidates will compete to be named the 2024 Fayette County Fair Queen.
This year’s Fair Queen court includes:
- Emireth Cerda, a freshman at La Grange High School representing Francisco “Paco” Orona Scholarship. Emireth is the daughter of Yeli and Hector Cerda.
- Emma Haynie, a homeschool senior representing La Grange Optimist Club. Emma is the daughter of Jennifer and Steven Haynie.
- Kaylee Soto, a junior at La Grange High School representing Kyla Faith Memorial. Kaylee is the daughter of Martha and Victor Soto.
Two candidates are vying for the honor of Fayette County Fair Junior Miss. They are:
- Presley Lange, a 7th grader at La Grange Middle School. Presley is the daughter of Shelbi Lange and Casey Lange.
- A’Niah White, a 6th grader at La Grange Elementary School. A’Niah is the daughter of Ashley White and Joe Cooper.
The winners will be crowned during the opening evening of the fair on Thursday, August 29th. The fair runs through September 1st.
The lineup of entertainment will feature Oscar Ayala and DJ Luna MTY, along with Aaron Watson and Rick Trevino.
Ticket sales for the fair begin on July 1st. Fair season passes, sold only by the Fair Queen contestants, are $35 for all four days of the fair. Carnival fun passes, sold exclusively by the Junior Miss contestants, are $70 for all unlimited carnival rides throughout the fair.
