WASHINGTON CO. FAIR VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION NIGHT AUG. 3

The Washington County Fair will thank volunteers for their contributions and make some key announcements for this year’s fair at the upcoming Volunteer Appreciation Night.

The event is set for next Saturday, August 3rd at Silver Wings Ballroom from 7:30 to 11 p.m.  There will be food and refreshments, door prizes and music by the Risky Liver Band.

This is the third Volunteer Appreciation Night hosted by the Washington County Fair Association.  Fair President Michael Bentke, speaking during Tuesday’s Community Corner on KWHI, said it is a way to celebrate all that volunteers do to make the fair possible each year.

The evening will also include the reveal of the four candidates who will be vying for Washington County Fair Queen, as well as who will be taking the stage as the featured performers at the fair.

Season tickets for the fair will go on sale that night, and can be purchased from the candidates themselves or at www.washingtoncofair.com

All current volunteers at the fair are invited to attend.  RSVP forms are available on the fair’s website.

KWHI and KTEX-106 will be at the Volunteer Appreciation Night.
