CHAPPELL HILL TO HOST 3RD ANNUAL WINE & CHEESE STROLL AUG. 10
The Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for the 3rd Annual Wine and Cheese Stroll in downtown Chappell Hill.
The stroll will take place on Saturday, August 10th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering visitors the opportunity to sample various wine and cheese samplings from the different shops and restaurants along Main Street.
Chappell Hill Chamber board member and event chair David Cone says there will be plenty of shopping opportunities, as the event coincides with the state’s sales tax holiday.
Tickets go toward commemorative wine glasses and are on sale now. They can be purchased for $25 through August 3rd, going up to $30 after August 3rd. They will also be available at the event.
Check-in will take place at the Chamber Visitors Center, 5145 Main Street, starting at 10:30 a.m. on August 10th. Attendees will receive their glass along with a “Chappell Hill Swag Bag” and a map highlighting the participating shops and wines to sample.
