15 PEOPLE PLEAD GUILTY IN DISTRICT COURT
15 people plead guilty and were sentenced by Judge Reva Towslee Corbett in District Court this week.
Toby Eugene Rogers, 54 of Brenham, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for Theft of Property between $30,000 and $150,000.
Colby Alan Barham, 28 of Brenham, was sentenced to 13 years in prison for Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation with a Previous Conviction. He was also sentenced to 10 years in prison for Continuous Violence Against the Family with a Previous Conviction and 2 years in state jail for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
Ferman Jerome Valdez, 49 of Baytown, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Patrick Michael Howley, Jr., 29 of Brenham, was sentenced to 5 years in prison for Continuous Violence Against the Family and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Jose Luis Cardoza, 25 of Burton, was sentenced to 4 years in prison for Injury to a Child.
Emilio Alvarado, 20 of Spring, had his probation adjudicated and sentenced to 2 years in prison for Evading Arrest with a Vehicle. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine.
Josue N. Castaneda-Guillen, 40 of Brenham was sentenced to 2 years in prison for Driving While Intoxicated 3 or more offences.
Jeff Andrew Williams, 58 of Houston, was sentenced to 2 years in prison for Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Info.
Theresa Fletcher, 62 of Brenham, was sentenced to 190 days in the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Demetresious Deshaun Hensley, 36 of Houston, was sentenced to 6 years’ probation for Assault by Intentional or Reckless by Impeding Breath or Circulation with a Previous Conviction of a Family Member. He was also ordered to pay a $2500 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.
James Lance Singleton, 34 of Pflugerville, was sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. He was also ordered to pay a $1500 fine and perform 150 hours community service. He was also convicted of Possession Controlled Substance in which he was given time served in the Washington County Jail.
Larry Joseph Deshotel, 42 of Houston, was sentenced to 5 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine and perform 100 hours community service.
Travis Lloyd Nelius, 41 of Round Top, was sentenced to 4 years deferred adjudication probation for Theft of Property between $2500 and $30,000. He was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine, pay $3000 in restitution, and perform 50 hours community service.
Christi Lee Johnson, 44 of East Bernard, was sentenced to 3 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine and perform 100 hours community service. She was also convicted of Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon in a Prohibited Place in which she was given time served in the Washington County Jail.
Valencia Charmain Preston, 46 of Houston, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication probation for Theft of Property between $2500 and $30,000. She was also ordered to pay a $500 fine.
