BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO DISCUSS TAX RATE AT NEXT MEETING
The Brenham School Board will be discussing the budget and tax rate at their next meeting this coming Tuesday.
The board has scheduled a 12-noon meeting at the Brenham ISD Administration Office.
Agenda items include setting the 2024 proposed tax rate for Maintenance and Operations, and the 2024 proposed tax rate for Interest and Sinking.
They are also expected to set the date and time for public meeting to hear comments from the public on the 2024-2025 proposed school district budget, and the 2024 proposed tax rate.
Other items on the agenda include approval of the district’s compensation plan, a discussion of about the district’s employee handbook, and approval of the district’s property and casualty insurance carrier.
