D.J. Sanders commits to A&M (TexAgs.com)

Bellville Brahma Football standout D.J. Sanders has made his college decision. The 6’3” 315-pound Defensive Tackle has verbally committed to Texas A&M to play for the Aggies next season.

Sanders is the 20th commitment for Coach Mike Elko’s 2025 signing class.

Sanders is about to enter his senior season at Bellville High School. He has been a starter on Varsity for all four seasons.

Last year as a junior, Sanders was the District's overall MVP, which is a rare feat for a defensive lineman. He had 115 tackles, 30 solo, and 85 assisted, and also recorded 15 sacks.

Sanders was a key component on the Brahmas' run to the State Championship Game in 2023.

In addition to District MVP, he also earned All State Honors from the Padilla Poll and the Texas Sports Writers Association.

Sanders is also the younger cousin former NFL Wide Receiver Emmanuel Sanders.
