The proposed tax rate is $0.9455 per $100 valuation, slightly higher than the existing rate of $0.9380 per $100.

The new rate would reduce the maintenance and operations (M&O) portion from $0.7380 to $0.7355, but it would increase the interest and sinking (I&S) side from $0.2000 to $0.2100.

Trustees will schedule a public meeting date to move forward with the proposed tax rate and budget.

In other business, the board will consider approval of procedures concerning change orders related to the bond construction project.  Later, it will act on possible changes to the supplemental pay schedule.

The board will also vote on the 2024-25 districtwide improvement plan and the elementary and secondary campus improvement plans.

An executive session will possibly be held to consult with an attorney and discuss personnel, security and real property.  Any action will occur in open session.

The board will meet Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Burton High School auditorium.
