LOCAL CHURCH MAKES DONATION TO BRENHAM MIDDLE SCHOOL

The Lay Organization and Young People’s Department of St. John AME Church recently held their annual Back to School Supply and Clothing Drive.
Items collected included things like backpacks, pens, markers, paper, and other needed school supplies.
They were then donated to the Brenham Middle School.
Lay Organization President Lee Taylor said, “It is important for the local churches to support our school system in prayer, as well as, with resources.”
On hand for the presentation of the items collected during the drive were Faith Mission Executive Director Reverend Randy Wells, Middle School Principal Erin Thibodeaux, 5th Grade Counselor Karen Peschel, and 6th Grade Counselor Monica Fricke.
