CALDWELL SET TO HOST 39TH ANNUAL KOLACHE FESTIVAL SEPT. 14

  

One of the largest festivals in the Brazos Valley is coming soon to downtown Caldwell.

The 39th Annual Kolache Festival, hosted by the Burleson County Chamber of Commerce, will invite visitors to participate in a unique celebration of Czech culture and tradition on Saturday, September 14th.

The day begins at 9 a.m. with opening ceremonies, which will feature the crowning of the 2024 Miss Kolache Festival and performances by the SPJST Youth Beseda Dancers. 

Other activities will include shopping at over 125 vendors and booths, the 5K Kolache Krunch run, kolache baking and eating contests, a quilt show, an antique machinery and tractor show, museum demonstrations, live music, a street rod and classic car show, and a kids’ zone.

Admission to the festival is free.  A ticketed pre-festival dinner will be held on Friday, September 13th from 6 to 10 p.m., sponsored by the Burleson County Czech Heritage Museum.  Tickets are available from museum members or the Burleson County Chamber of Commerce.
