CARNIVAL OPENS TUESDAY AT WASHINGTON CO. FAIR, PLUS RESULTS FROM SUNDAY’S BUCKET CALF SHOW

  

Activities continue today (Tuesday) at the 156th Washington County Fair with the opening of the carnival.

Fairgoers can play a wide variety of games and have fun on all kinds of rides at the Heart of America Carnival, which is open from 6 to 11 p.m. starting today through Friday and 1 to 11 p.m. on Saturday. 

Admission to the grounds at the Washington County Expo is free today. 

Also this evening, team roping will take place at 7:15 p.m., with books opening at 6:30 p.m. and closing at 7 p.m.  The top five average teams will compete at Thursday night’s CPRA rodeo performance. 

Tomorrow (Wednesday) is Show Day at the fair, with market livestock shows taking place all day long.  The winners of the Little and Junior Mister and Miss contests will be announced starting at 6 p.m., and the evening’s featured entertainment will be De Parranda.
