CITY OF BRENHAM: FIRE PUT OUT AT ALLSORTS STORAGE, INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY

  

Update @ 7:45 p.m.: City of Brenham officials say the fire at Allsorts Storage is out and firefighters have begun cleanup. The situation is under investigation, with the Texas Fire Marshal's Office assisting. A total of 58 firefighters responded from Brenham, Washington County and surrounding counties.

Original Story @ 5:55 p.m.: Washington County firefighters and law enforcement personnel are at the scene of a major commercial structure fire this (Wednesday) afternoon at Allsorts Storage, 4040 Highway 36 South, across from the Brenham State Supported Living Center.

The fire was first reported around 5:30 p.m.  An all-call was issued for all Washington County fire departments to respond.  Scanner traffic indicated that multiple propane tanks and RVs were on fire.

The public is asked to avoid the area.

  1. Hot temperatures and hot flames are a real challenge for the first responders. When you see them today, thank them! If not for them, the loss would have been much greater!
