The Washington County Fair celebrated the crowning Wednesday night of this year’s Little and Junior Mister and Miss.

The Little Mister and Miss are Ryatt Russell and Tessly Collier. Named the Junior Mister and Miss are Max Felder and Talyn Sulik.
Today (Thursday) will have the commercial heifer pen show and commercial steer award breakfast at 8 a.m. The Champion Drive, which provides a fair experience for local students with special needs, begins at 10:30 a.m.
Today is also Senior Citizen’s Day at the fair, with discounted daytime entry for fairgoers who are 60 and older. A Senior’s Day Luncheon will be held starting at 11:30 a.m.
The scramble heifer show will begin at 3 p.m., followed by the colt show at 4 p.m.

Tonight, Jeff Woolsey & the Dancehall Kings will perform at 8 p.m.
There will also be the rodeo, mutton bustin’, country creations and the carnival.
KWHI will have live reports from the fair from 10 a.m. to noon, while KTEX-106 will report live from 6 to 8 p.m. KTEX-106’s fair broadcasts are sponsored by South Texas Tack.
