BURLESON CO. FAIR CROWNS QUEEN, LITTLE MISS
Burleson County crowned its 2024 Fair Queen and Little Miss Tuesday night.
This year’s Fair Queen is Hadleigh Novosad. The Runner-up is Macelynn Smith.
Novosad set a new individual ticket sales record at 1,895 tickets, breaking the mark set two years ago by Alexis Macik at 1,610. Between Novosad and Smith, they sold 2,184 fair memberships totaling $65,520.
The winner of the Little Miss contest is Avery Freeman. First Runner-up is Raelea McManus, with Harlow Ray finishing as Second Runner-up and Kopelyn Fisher coming in as Third Runner-up.
Livestock judging begins today (Wednesday), and it is the first day of the Pride of Texas Shows Carnival. The youth livestock sale will be Saturday, starting at 5 p.m.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Cody Joe Hodges tomorrow (Thursday), Texas Unlimited Band and Roger Creager on Friday, and the Crossroads Band and Tracy Byrd to conclude on Saturday.
