BRENHAM GOLFERS TAKE HOME TOP HONORS AT BRENHAM INVITATIONAL
The Brenham High School Golf Team took part in the Brenham Invitational Golf Tournament. The Brenham Country Club hosted both the Boys and Girls Tournaments, which occurred November 8-9.
On the Boys Side, the Brenham Cubs finished first overall after shooting a team score of 328 on the first day and a team score of 333 on the second day, which was good for a two-day team score of 661.
Cub Freshman Luke Alford finished first overall individually by shooting a 76 on Day One and an 80 on Day Two, for a score of 156.
Holton Gillentine (Fr.) finished second with an 84 and an 81, for a two-day score of 165. Caleb Klussmann (So.) was third with an 81 and 85 for a score of 166.

Bryce Siemsglusz (Fr.) 88-87 175
Levi Dupont (Jr.) 87-88 175
Kyle Curtis (So.) 96-88 184
Kayn Gurka (So.) 97-100 197
On the Girls' Side, two Cubettes, Sofia Workman and Raylea Kunkel tied for seond overall. Both had two day scores of 172. Workman finished with a pair of 86's, while Kunkel had an 85 and an 87.
Both teams are back in action for a tournament at the Atascosita Golf Club, which is being held November 22-23.
