WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MEET TUESDAY
The Washington County Commissioners Court will be meeting in special session on Tuesday morning.
Among the agenda items is the seeking of incentive pay for two county employees, who are spending extra time in the E911 Department.
Human Resources Director Angela Mlcak is asking for incentive pay for HR Generalist Amber Skalka, who has been assigned to oversee the continuance of operations of the E911 Department.
Mlcak said that Skalka is not only taking on supervisory duties, but it is also a position outside of her current department.
The County has been searching for a new director and operations manager since the resignations for Robyn Hood and Shannon Seldon at the end of October.
Mlcak is also seeking incentive pay for IT Systems Administrator Mark Young, who has been putting in extra hours to implement new software in the E911 Department.
Other items on the agenda include the canvassing of votes for the November 5 General Election, and approving an agreement with the Texas DPS for an employee to work in their local office.
The Commissioners will also hear the quarterly IT Report.
The Washington County Commissioners meet Tuesday at 9am at the Washington County Courthouse.
