CUBETTES SPLIT GAMES ON DAY ONE OF LADY RATTLER SHOOTOUT
The Brenham Cubettes split their games yesterday (Thursday) on the opening day of the Lady Rattler Shootout in Navasota.
In the first game, Brenham defeated Crockett 71-28. Carmen McWilliams led the way with 18 points. Antyiahna Lang had 15 points and 12 rebounds. Janiyah Mathis chipped in with 13 points.
The Cubettes then dropped the second game to LaPorte 64-46. Mathis led the way in that game with 11 points. Lang had 10 points and 14 rebounds. McWilliams added 10 points and six rebounds. Yazmine Gaines added eight points.
The tournament continues later today (Friday) as Brenham takes on College Station at 1pm, and Cleveland at 5:30pm.
