BRENHAM POLICE ARREST TWO ON INTOXICATION CHARGES
Brenham police made two intoxication arrests on Sunday.
Around 2:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the 1000 block of Robinhood Road. Upon arrival, police determined that 31-year-old Derek Andre Mitchell Jr. of Brenham was showing signs of intoxication. Mitchell was transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in for Public Intoxication.
At 10:30 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle in the 2400 block of Gun and Rod Road. A standardized field sobriety test revealed that 33-year-old Christopher Rodriguez Onate of Houston was intoxicated. Onate was placed into custody for Driving While Intoxicated and taken to the Washington County Jail for booking.
