ACCIDENT AT HIGHWAY 290 CLOVERLEAF CAUSING DELAYS
First responders are working the scene of an accident causing some delays this (Thursday) morning at the Highway 290 cloverleaf in Brenham.
Brenham Fire Chief Mark Donovan said the accident involved a truck hauling a trailer and an 18-wheeler.
No injuries are reported, but westbound traffic is blocked. However, Donovan was optimistic that, as of 11:15 a.m., the accident could be cleared within the next 15 minutes.
Travelers are asked to avoid the area if possible and prepare for possible slowdowns.
