BRENHAM CUB SOCCER OPENS TOURNAMENT WITH A WIN
The Brenham Cub Soccer Team beat the Bellville Brahmas 2-0 at the Brenham Tournament earlier today (Friday).
Eddy Garcia and Kolbe Asmussen scored the two goals for the Cubs. Chris Calix and Brandon Schultz had assists. Andres Rosales had the shutout.
The Cubs are now 3-2 on the season.
The round-robin tournament continues tomorrow at Cub Stadium with Brenham against Bellville at 10am, the Brenham JV against the Giddings JV at noon, and then Brenham Varsity against the Giddings Varsity at 2pm.
