TEXAS BIRTHDAY BASH COMING TO NAVASOTA THIS WEEKEND

Visitors will be converging on the City of Navasota this weekend for the annual Texas Birthday Bash. For the first time, the event is under the direction of Charlie Diggs Entertainment and Promotions.

The Texas Birthday Bash is being held Saturday at August Horst Memorial Park on Airport Road. The gates are scheduled to open at 12 noon.

This year, there will be three stages set up. The Side Stage will feature performances from Delaney Ann, Maverick Murphy, Joey Green, and Payton Howie. The Tejano Stage has Grupo Zenzio, a Selena Tribute by Amanda Solis, and Siggno. The Main Stage will have performances by Julie Roberts, Dylan Wheeler, Braxton Keith, Randall King, and headliner Clay Walker.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for $35 by going to www.texasbirthdaybash.com. The price will go up on the day of the event.

The kids zone also returns this year with a new addition.  They are offering train rides around the festival grounds.

There will also be plenty of different vendors if concert-goers get hungry or thirsty. Outside food and beverages are not permitted, and coolers are also not allowed.

Service dogs are allowed, but owners must keep them on a leash at all times, and clean up after them.

KTEX 106’s Cowboy Dave will be broadcasting live from the Bash from 5-7pm, while Club Latino’s J.C. Estrada will introduce Siggno on-stage at 8:30pm.
