BLINN BOARD TO MEET IN SPECIAL SESSION ON TUESDAY
The Blinn College Board of Trustees have called a special meeting for this Tuesday morning.
The lone action item is to accept the certification of unopposed candidates and adopting an order to cancel the May 3rd general election.
Current trustees Richard O’Malley, Jim Kolkhorst, and Dennis Crowson, who hold the three at-large positions on the board, filed to serve an additional term of office, and did not draw an opponent by last month’s filing deadline.
With the cancelation of the election, O’Malley, Kolkhorst, and Crowson, would each be re-elected to serve an additional six-year term on the board.
The Blinn College Board of Trustees meet Tuesday at 9:30am on the third floor of the Brenham Campus Administration Building.
