BRENHAM PD ARRESTS TWO EARLY FRIDAY ON WARRANTS

Two people were arrested early this (Friday) morning by Brenham police on warrants.
At 1:45 a.m., Officer Garrett Downs conducted a license plate check on a vehicle in the 2800 block of Highway 36 South. Investigation revealed that both of the vehicle’s occupants had active warrants.

Police say the driver, identified as 23-year-old Jakelgein Walter of Navasota, showed two active warrants out of Municipal Court and Washington County for Possession of Marijuana and Speeding. Police also say the front-seat passenger, identified as 22-year-old Carldreunna Davis of Brenham, had an active warrant out of Washington County for No Driver’s License.
Walter and Davis were placed into custody and taken to the Washington County Jail. Walter was booked on an additional charge of Possession of Marijuana Less than 2oz.
