The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrests of three subjects since Sunday.

At 8:45 p.m. Sunday, Deputy Faske initiated a traffic stop for speeding at Prairie Hill Road and FM 50.  An odor of marijuana was detected, so a probable cause search was conducted.  Deputy Faske reported locating marijuana in a purse belonging to the passenger, who was identified as 21-year-old Tia Roshea Sweed of Brenham.  Sweed was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for Possession of Marijuana Less Than 2 oz.

Ramsey Lee Randall Jr.
(Washington Co. Jail)

Close to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Corporal Salinas conducted a traffic stop near Highway 105 and FM 2193 for speeding.  A routine check indicated that the driver, 33-year-old Ramsey Lee Randall Jr. of Brenham, had active arrest warrants in Washington and Harris counties.  Randall was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was charged with Failure to Appear – Assault of a Family/Household Member with Previous Conviction and Motion to Revoke Probation – Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.

Daelyon Lamar Watson
(Washington Co. Jail)

Around 11:30 p.m., Corporal Salinas conducted a traffic stop in the 2400 block of Highway 105 for an obscured license plate.  Corporal Salinas reported observing indicators consistent with criminal activity.  The occupants denied consent to search, so a K9 was requested from the Waller County Sheriff’s Office.  According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the K9 alerted, and a search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of an AR pistol and marijuana in a backpack.  19-year-old Daelyon Lamar Watson of Brenham was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail.  Watson was charged with Unlawful Possession of Firearm Family/Household/Court Order/Gang and Possession of Marijuana Less Than 2 Ounces.  All other occupants were identified and released.
