BRENHAM FIRE DEPT. RESPONDS SUNDAY FOR GAS ODOR, DOG LOCKED IN VEHICLE
The Brenham Fire Department responded to two calls on Sunday.
Around 1:45 p.m., firefighters and the City of Brenham Gas Department received a report of a gas odor at a home in the 2000 block of Geney Street. They checked the area for a leak or smell, and after investigation, the gas department released the fire department from the scene.
At 4 p.m., BFD personnel were dispatched for a rescue at a home in the 400 block of Sandra Drive. They made location to find a dog locked inside of a vehicle. The department was able to unlock the vehicle and get the dog out for the owner. Units then cleared the call.
