WASHINGTON CO. CLERK BETH ROTHERMEL HONORED AT RETIREMENT CEREMONY

Washington County Clerk Beth Rothermel a happy
retirement.

Washington County recognized longtime County Clerk Beth Rothermel at a retirement ceremony today (Friday).
Hundreds of people came to the Washington County Courthouse Annex to thank Rothermel for her years of service as county clerk and wish her the best in her upcoming retirement. Joining her for the occasion were former county clerk’s office employees, colleagues and other clerks from across the state of Texas.

Rothermel’s final day as county clerk will be next Friday, March 28th, after having served in the role since 1995. Nicholas Prenzler was appointed by county commissioners last week to fulfill the remainder of her term through the end of 2026.
