BRENHAM ISD LEGO LEAGUE TEAM EARNS AWARD AT STATE COMPETITION

  

Brenham ISD’s Challenging Scientific Investigations (CSI) program was among the best in the state at the FIRST LEGO League robotics competition held recently in Haslet.

The Roysters team from Brenham CSI was invited to the competition as one of the top 60 teams in the state, out of 1,200 that are registered in Texas. 

The Roysters went on to win first place in Core Values, receiving a banner and trophy.  This is the first time a Brenham CSI team has earned an award at the state level.

Team members include Cecilia Schluens, Edna Rodriguez, Ava Charles-Pierre, Wesley Whitehead, Ricardo Sanchez and Jaxson LeBlanc.  They are led by instructor Kristi Felder.   

The competition focuses on the core values of teamwork, integrity and helping others succeed.  The Roysters were commended for their ability to display professionalism and cooperation.
