A new exhibit is on display at the Brenham Heritage Museum, offering a glimpse at the history of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in Washington County.

“Scouting Washington County” features scouting memorabilia from local troops in Brenham and Burton, as well as collections of photographs, artifacts and souvenirs.

Many of the items come from national jamboree trips led by the late Dr. Wilfred Dietrich, a scoutmaster and one of the museum’s founders.

The temporary exhibit will remain on display at the museum until June 21st

Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 12 and under.
