NINE SENTENCED IN 21ST DISTRICT COURT
Nine people pleaded guilty and were sentenced last week in 21st District Court before Judge John Winkelmann.
35-year-old Francisco Javier Lupian of Katy, sentenced to 15 years in prison for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, a first degree felony; two counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Greater Than 400 Grams, a first degree felony; Abandon/Endanger a Child, a state jail felony enhanced with prior offenses to second degree felony; and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4-200 Grams, a second degree felony. Lupian was released to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
43-year-old Wendy Lynn Meyer of Brenham, probation revoked and sentenced to 3 years in prison for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 1-4 Grams, a third degree felony. Meyer was also fined $1,500 and ordered to pay $160 in restitution.
39-year-old Stephanie Reyes of Bryan, probation adjudicated and sentenced to 20 months in state jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony. Reyes was also fined $250 and ordered to pay $15 in restitution.
29-year-old David Richard Groves of Franklin, sentenced to 92 days in the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a state jail felony.
49-year-old Paul Anthony Laughlin of Chappell Hill, sentenced to 123 days in the Washington County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor.
22-year-old Bryant Eduardo Perez-Beltran of Houston, sentenced to 4 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Money Laundering $30,000 - $150,000, a third degree felony, as well as Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 1-4 Grams, a third degree felony. Perez-Beltran must also pay a $1,000 fine, perform 100 hours of community service and complete a drug offender education program.
32-year-old Vincent William Matteo Ortiz Doebbler of Corpus Christi, sentenced to 4 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 4-400 Grams, a second degree felony. He must also pay a $1,000 fine, perform 100 hours of community service and complete a drug offender education program.
36-year-old Laura Gonzalez of Tomball, sentenced to 4 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, a third degree felony. Gonzalez was also fined $500, ordered to perform 100 hours of community service and must complete a drug offender education program.
37-year-old Ever Alexander Molina Ruiz of Brenham, sentenced to 2 years’ deferred adjudication probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, a Class A misdemeanor. Ruiz must also pay a $500 fine and $50 crime stoppers fee, perform 100 hours of community service and complete a drug offender education program.
