BRENHAM MAIFEST TO HOLD JUNIOR CORONATION SATURDAY
Activities for the 135th Brenham Maifest will culminate today (Saturday).

The Junior Coronation ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m., as Queen Elizabeth Grace “Ellie” Alfred and King Everett Alexander McCarty Gonzales reign over the court of “The Wonderful Things We Imagine”.
The Maifest parade will roll through downtown Brenham at 10:30 a.m. KWHI will have a live broadcast beginning at 10:05 a.m. and will livestream it on Facebook, sponsored by Tres Chic Boutique. The Maifestival grounds and carnival will open afterwards for music, dancing, beer tasting and games.
Featured entertainers are The Oompahs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Das Ist Lustig from 2 to 5 p.m., Isaak Klaus and the Lederhosen Junkies from 5 to 8 p.m., and the David Reynolds Band from 9 p.m. to midnight.
