7 YEAR OLD LITTLE LEAGUE ALL STARS TOURNAMENT WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Over the weekend, Sealy hosted a 7-year-old Coach Pitch tournament for both softball and baseball, welcoming All-Star teams from across the region. The competition was fierce, and the winners were crowned earlier this week.

On the baseball side, Washington County-Green won the tournament title. After beating Sealy earlier in the double-elimination tournament 20-17, Washington County-Green only needed one win to claim the title in the final. Sealy took game one in a nail-biter, 12-11, but Washington County-Green bounced back to win game two 8-5, securing the championship as they handed Sealy their second loss.

In the softball bracket, Sealy emerged as champions after an undefeated run through the double-elimination tournament. They edged out Columbus in a matchup that ended with a score of 12-11, then sealed the title with a 14-8 victory in the championship rematch.
