DOWNTOWN BRENHAM READY FOR SUMMER SIP & ART WALK SATURDAY
Main Street Brenham is getting ready to welcome hundreds of visitors to downtown Brenham tomorrow (Saturday) for the annual Summer Sip and Art Walk.
Main Street Manager Leigh Linden, speaking during the KWHI Community Corner, says the event is all about enjoying a summer afternoon with tasty drinks and striking art displays while supporting local businesses.
The Summer Sip and Art Walk begins at 3 p.m. and runs until 7 p.m., with around 40 locations offering signature drinks like American Dreamsicles, Rustic Refresher Palomas, peach sangria and chocolate martinis. Over 30 artists will showcase their work across a variety of mediums, like acrylic paint, watercolor, jewelry, photography and beer can art.
Tickets can be brought to the Washington County Courthouse gazebo starting at 2 p.m. They will be exchanged for commemorative Summer Sip glasses, a goodie bag and a map with all of the participating locations.
For anyone who has not purchased their ticket, a limited number of glasses will be sold at the event for $35.
