THREE ARRESTED IN GRIMES CO. FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A CHILD
Three men face child sex assault charges in Grimes County.
The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrests of Christopher Barnett, Jody Jernigan and Brian Manley around 7 a.m. Wednesday in Bedias.
The men have each been charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and Sexual Assault of a Child.
The arrests came after the sheriff’s office, Precinct 1 constable’s office, district attorney’s office and DPS officials executed search warrants with assistance from Child Protective Services investigators.
