BRENHAM HS CHOIR SINGS NATIONAL ANTHEM AT ASTROS GAME

Before the first pitch of the Houston Astros vs. Philadelphia Phillies game today (Thursday) at Daikin Park in Houston, the Brenham High School Choir took center field for a moving performance of the national anthem.

Sponsored by the Texas Arts and Music Festival, the choir proudly represented their community on one of baseball’s biggest stages. Their harmonies echoed through the ballpark, capturing the attention of fans and setting a respectful, patriotic tone for the game.

The performance marked a special moment for the students, many of whom were performing in a major league venue for the first time. Thanks to the support of the Texas Arts and Music Festival and the efforts of Choir Director Lauren Shelton, the choir was able to showcase their talent beyond the local stage, bringing a touch of Brenham to the heart of Houston.
