CUBETTES VOLLEYBALL HEAD COACH MEGAN WHALEN SET FOR SPORTS LINE APPEARANCE

Brenham, TX – On Monday, July 28, 2025, Brenham High School’s Head Volleyball Coach Megan Whalen is scheduled to appear on KWHI’s Sportsline for an in‑depth conversation about the upcoming Cubette season. She’ll be joined in studio by a couple of players to share perspective from the court.

Coach Whalen, a longtime fixture in Brenham athletics, officially took the reins as head volleyball coach in April 2022 and brings experience both as a former Cubette player and longtime assistant coach with the program. On-air she is expected to discuss key changes in the program, team goals for the fall, and insights into how players are shaping up during summer training or camp sessions.

Joined by some players, the segment will offer firsthand athlete viewpoints on team chemistry and preparation. The Brenham Sportsline show begins at 5:30 PM on KWHI 1280 AM (also heard on 101.7 FM and streamed at KWHI.com).

This appearance comes just as Brenham’s annual volleyball camp wraps up and the team is deep into summer conditioning – a perfect time to preview the season ahead and spotlight standout players emerging under Whalen’s leadership.
