Will Klotz will begin serving in the role on Monday.  Miracle Farm says Klotz’ experience as a pastor, leader, and a young man who found himself in a situation like many of the boys at Miracle Farm, “gives him unique perspective and tools for the position.”

During a troubled youth, Klotz participated in a ministry in Florida similar to Miracle Farm.  Driven by his faith, he went on to launch New City Fellowship in Manassas, Virginia while also developing a mentorship and tutoring program in partnership with local schools and nonprofits.  He also regularly discipled young men and families in crisis.

Most recently, Klotz worked for Vanderbloemen, a staffing agency in Houston with a mission of finding the right leadership for Christian churches, schools and nonprofits.  While assigned to find a new president for Miracle Farm after the departure of Brent Thackerson, Klotz said he was moved after hearing about the organization’s mission and vision, so he recused himself from the process and spent time in prayer to make sure this was the right direction for him.

Klotz has a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Christian Leadership University in New York.  He later obtained a master of divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C., with a focus on theology, church leadership, biblical languages and preaching.

Klotz says, “I’m not just concerned with a wonderful experience for these young men while they’re at Miracle Farm.  I am deeply concerned with setting them up on a trajectory of success so that they thrive and walk in their purpose and their calling long after they leave this place.”

The trustees of Miracle Farm say they are “beyond excited” to have Klotz join the team.  Todd Roberson, president and CEO of Children at Heart Ministries, calls him “a collaborative and visionary leader.”

Will and his wife Chelsea have been married for 15 years and have four children.
