TRAFFIC SIGNAL TO GO LIVE NEXT WEEK AT INTERSECTION OF FM 50, FM 60
TxDOT says it will activate a new traffic signal next week at FM 50 and FM 60 in Burleson County.
Weather permitting, the signal will be activated on Thursday, August 21st.
The new signal will be a full red, yellow and green signaled four-way intersection. TxDOT says it is intended to improve safety and traffic flow.
Message boards will be in place to inform drivers of the change. Once the signal is activated, additional items like signage, striping and clean-up will be completed within the following week.
The installation is being carried out by Florida Traffic Control Devices, Inc., with a project cost of $552,000.
