BRENHAM CUBS TO APPEAR ON KWHI SPORTS LINE AHEAD OF 2025 FOOTBALL SEASON
With the 2025 football season just around the corner, the Brenham Cubs are stepping into the spotlight with an exclusive appearance on the KWHI Sports Line on Monday, August 18 at 5:30pm offering fans a behind-the-scenes look at this year’s team ahead of kickoff.
The first live action of the year comes Thursday, August 21, when the Cubs travel to Rattler Stadium for a preseason scrimmage against Navasota. The following week, Brenham will officially open the season at home, welcoming the Huntsville Hornets to Cubs Stadium for a high-stakes Senior Night clash.

As part of KWHI’s expanded coverage, the Cubs will be featured on The Sports Line on Monday, August 18 at 5:30pm for a special interview segment including Head Coach Danny Youngs, reigning Lineman of the Year Andre Mojica, projected 5A Player of the Year JaKoby Dixon, reigning district defensive MVP Caleb Espinoza, and sack leader Mason Seeber. The segment will offer insight into the team’s preparation, mindset, and goals for the season ahead.
