SHERIFF’S OFFICE MAKES ARRESTS ON LICENSE CHARGES, INDECENT EXPOSURE WARRANT
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported two arrests between Monday and Wednesday.
Approaching 7:15 a.m. Monday, Deputy Holmes initiated a traffic stop at Highway 290 East and FM 1371 for failing to signal a turn. Upon contact with the driver, the sheriff’s office found him to have a suspended driver’s license and an active warrant out of Kleberg County. 33-year-old Adrian Alexander Vega of Bellville was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail for Failure to Appear – Driving While License Invalid and Driving While License Invalid Enhanced.
Nearing 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, Corporal Zavala conducted a traffic stop at Highway 290 East and FM 1371 for failing to maintain a single lane. The driver stated he was fatigued and did not show any signs of intoxication. However, he was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Bastrop County. 44-year-old Terry McVade of Manor was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Indecent Exposure.
