40TH ANNUAL KOLACHE FESTIVAL COMING TO CALDWELL THIS WEEKEND

  

Downtown Caldwell is getting ready for the 40th edition of the Kolache Festival this weekend.

The festival, which is hosted by the Burleson County Chamber of Commerce, will celebrate the Czech culture and tradition tomorrow (Saturday) from 9am to 4pm.

Opening ceremonies get underway at 9am, and will include the crowning of the 2025 Miss Kolache Festival, along with performances by the SPJST Youth Beseda Dancers.

The day’s events will also have shopping at over 150 vendors on site, the Kolache Krunch 5K, kolache baking and eating contests, a quilt show, an antique machinery and tractor show, museum displays and demonstrations, a street car and classic car show, a kids’ zone, and live music throughout the day with groups such as the Czechaholics, the Moravians, and the Shiner Hobo Band.

Admission to the festival is free.
