BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO HEAR REPORTS ON PERFORMANCE GOALS, STORM DAMAGE

The Brenham School Board is set to hear several reports and receive community donations at its meeting on Monday.

Trustees will discuss Brenham ISD’s goals and performance objectives for the 2025-26 school year and receive an update on facilities that suffered storm damage in the spring.  They will also go through the results of an efficiency audit conducted by Patillo, Brown and Hill, LLP and hear the annual report from the SMART-CARE Kids program.

The board is also expected to accept a number of donations, including from the Brenham ISD Education Foundation, for mini-grants to go to teachers, departments and campuses; Run for the Youth of Washington County, coming from proceeds from the Blue Bell Fun Run in the spring; local Lions Clubs; and contributions for Brenham High School UIL advanced academics.

Later in the meeting, the board will consider a laptop refresh at Brenham High School before potentially going into executive session to consult with an attorney and discuss personnel matters.

The board will meet Monday at 6 p.m. in rooms 111 and 113 at Brenham High School.  The meeting will be livestreamed on Brenham ISD’s YouTube channel.
