CUBETTE VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS GIDDINGS 3-0

After a pair of tough losses in district play last week, the Brenham Cubettes Volleyball Team got back on the winning track with victory over the Giddings Lady Buffaloes last (Tuesday) night at the Brenham High School Gym.

Originally, Brenham was supposed to play New Waverly as well, but due to injuries, the Lady Bulldogs had to pull out.

The Cubettes had a bye for the evening from district competition, but they elected to stay busy.

Brenham swept all three sets against Giddings. They won by scores of 25-22, 25-21, and 25-13.

With the win, the Cubettes improve to 20-12 on the season. They will return to District 17-5A play on Friday night at Montgomery for a 6pm first serve.
