BLINN BASEBALL SENDING EIGHT PLAYERS AND COACHES TO ALL STAR GAMES

Coming off their third straight trip to the NJCAA World Series, the Blinn Buccaneer Baseball Team is sending eight players, as well as their coaching staff to the Texas/New Mexico Junior College Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Games.

The games are being played at Dallas Baptist University today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday). The Friday games will be Region 14 North vs. Region 5 West at 12:10pm, and Region 14 South vs. Region 5 North at 5:40pm. The Saturday games will feature Region 5 West against Region 14 South at 10:30am, and Region 5 North vs. Region 14 North at 2:20pm.

Blinn is part of the Region 14 South Team. Dusty Hart will be the head coach after leading the Bucs to a 48-15 record this past season.

Representing Blinn on the team will be outfielder Reece Lunsford (Frisco, TX), infielders Drew Britton (Pike Road, AL) and Trey Craig (Arlington, TX), along with pitchers Ben Polleschultz (Cypress, TX), Hudson Melaerts (Katy, TX), Hayden Morris (Conroe, TX), Cadyn Shaw (Franklin, TX), and Jack Garza (McKinney, TX).
